NUTELLA, is a sinfully delicious hazelnut spread that brings back so many memories from studying abroad in Italy. {Also memories of long days at the gym back in America losing nutella weight} Today is Marcio's birthday so I am celebrating our Italy memories with these yummy treats.
INGREDIENTS:
10 tbsp butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup Nutella
Beat butter and sugar together until creamy, add one egg at a time and beat, add vanilla and beat until smooth, add flour mixture in sections and beat until you have a thick almost dry mix (don't worry it is supposed to be like this)
Use an ice cream scoop to fill tins 3/4 the way full and plop about 1 tsp of nutella on each one.
Use a tooth pick to swirl the nutella around and bake at 325 degrees for 18min.
I used whipped betty crocker frosting and swirled nutella into it with a toothpick, it's yummy you should try it. :-)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCIO!
nata. i am going to make these next week. i love nutella. i love you.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited that I get to preview these before tonight. Kind of wish Stephanie would update her cooking blog, so that I knew what she was bringing as well.
